When you wash your hands, when you make a cup of coffee, when you're waiting for the elevator - instead of indulging in thinking, these are all opportunities for being there as a still, alert presence. -Eckhart Tolle
A few weeks ago I had such a fun morning with this awesome girl and her mom, grabbing coffee and walking around looking for cool photo spots, and having tons of laughs.
They introduced me to this awesome coffee shop, and now we're scheming how to get one closer to our homes.
I've shared a previous documentary style Senior session, and this was super fun too! So many people think they have a "boring" life, but come on! It's as simple as grabbing coffee on a Saturday morning... fun, awesome photos, and coffee!!
After we spent some time at the coffee shop we walked around and found some awesome places to take some portraits. We happened upon this awesome doorway, which happened to be a bar, and spent some time taking photos here. All of a sudden the top of the door opens, scaring her to death, but the dude thought he was hilarious. It kind of was. So we got a photo with him.
Thanks Hayli, for trusting me with your Senior photos!
Do you know someone graduating this year? Tell them about how shooting documentary style can make for an awesome Senior photo session... then tell them to hit me up!
